Waste Management & Waste Sites Partnership Solutions

The waste management industry relies on strong collaboration between operators to manage processing capacity, specialist requirements and regional coverage. No single operator can process every waste stream or meet every operational demand independently, which is why trusted partnerships play a vital role in maintaining efficiency, compliance and service continuity across the wider waste management supply chain.

At Parry & Evans, we work alongside waste management companies, recyclers and waste sites across England and Wales to provide specialist processing services, additional capacity and regional operational support. Our role is to complement existing operations, providing flexibility, licensed processing and additional throughput without competing for our partners’ customer base.

Common Challenges Within the Waste Management Sector

Waste operators face a range of operational pressures that often require external support, including:

Limited processing capacity during peak periods or unexpected volume increases

Licensing limitations for specific waste streams

The need for specialist processing services not available in-house

Geographic gaps requiring local tipping or regional processing solutions

Rising haulage and transport costs impacting efficiency and margins

The ongoing requirement for reliable contingency and overflow arrangements

Strong collaboration between operators is essential to maintaining service continuity, regulatory compliance and operational resilience across the waste management supply chain.

How Parry & Evans Supports Waste Operators

Additional Processing & Regional Support

We provide processing support to other waste management operators when additional capacity or regional assistance is required. Our facilities operate as regional processing hubs, helping to reduce transport distances, improve turnaround times and maintain service continuity during periods of increased demand.

Plastic Granulation Services

Parry & Evans provides plastic granulation services to other plastic recycling operators on a fee-for-service basis. Material is processed and returned as regrind, enabling partners to access specialist granulation capability without the need for on-site machinery. This service supports recycling operators who require reliable, high-quality processing while retaining full ownership and control of their material throughout the process.

Licensed Outsourcing & Coordination

Where waste streams fall outside our licensed scope, including hazardous or food waste, Parry & Evans coordinates compliant onward handling through trusted, licensed specialist partners. This ensures material is managed responsibly and transparently, while maintaining clear duty of care and responsibility boundaries between operators.

Clear Service Boundaries

Parry & Evans does not operate a general waste bin collection service and does not compete for end-customer collections where partner arrangements are already in place. Our services are clearly defined and focused on supporting existing operations, providing additional capacity and specialist capability without replacing or duplicating partner services.

Materials & Waste Streams We Typically Manage

Working alongside other waste operators, Parry & Evans supports the handling and processing of a wide range of recyclable and residual materials.

Cardboard and mixed paper received from transfer stations. Baled and loose material requiring bulking, re-baling, quality control or load optimisation.

Plastic film and flexible packaging such as shrink wrap and pallet wrap. Rigid plastics including HDPE and PP from containers, crates and industrial packaging. Plastics suitable for granulation and reprocessing. Off-spec, contaminated or mixed plastics requiring specialist handling.

Pallets and timber packaging from commercial and industrial sources. Broken pallets, off-cuts and damaged timber requiring recovery or processing.

Glass packaging and separated glass materials from commercial, industrial and transfer-station waste streams, requiring responsible handling, bulking and onward processing.

Ferrous and non-ferrous metals recovered from mixed waste streams. Metal packaging and separated material from sorting operations.

Residual material requiring preparation for further recovery, recycling or waste-to-energy processing.

All materials are managed within licensed parameters, supported by comprehensive documentation and full traceability at every stage of handling and processing.

Compliance & Regulation Support

Parry & Evans operates within a strictly regulated environment and places strong emphasis on compliance, transparency and professional standards across all licensed activities we undertake.

When supporting other waste operators, our responsibility is to ensure that material handled within our facilities or services is managed responsibly and in line with current environmental legislation.

Our approach includes operating strictly within licensed waste streams, maintaining clear Duty of Care documentation, providing transparent transfer, processing and traceability records, maintaining audit-ready systems and reporting, and working to professional standards aligned with wider industry expectations.

This ensures all material processed by Parry & Evans is handled compliantly and transparently, giving partners confidence at each operational interface while maintaining clear responsibility boundaries.
