Jack launched the company in 1961 and has been fully involved in the growth and operation of Parry & Evans ever since. Jack still visits the business daily to oversee the operations and always enjoys spending time with the team for a cup of tea!
Steve, son of Jack Evans, joined the business in 1977 and has gained a vast amount of expertise and knowledge within the recycling industry. Steve has expanded the business across the Welshpool and Deeside sites whilst continuing to drive the growth of the business.
Lee, son of Steve Evans, joined the business in 2008 after completing his degree in Environmental Management. Lee is fully involved in the daily operations of the business.
Jordan, son of Steve Evans, joined the business in 2010 after completing his degree in Environmental Management. Jordan manages our Welshpool recycling centre and oversees everything on a daily basis to ensure our processes are running smoothly.
Nick is also part of the Parry & Evans family and joined the company in 2008. Nick is involved in the daily operations of our Deeside recycling centre.
Jackie, daughter of Jack Evans, has always been involved in the business, initially working during the weekends and summer holidays as a teenager. Jackie attended Newtown College which involved office and payroll studies. In 1989, Jackie began her full time career with Parry & Evans and eventually became head of the payroll department whilst helping the business grow into what it is today.
Dave has been improving and overseeing our Health & Safety since 2011. Dave’s vast knowledge and experience is an essential part of our Health & Safety competencies at both of our recycling sites. Dave is IOSH and NEBOSH qualified. He is also certified to ISO 9001:2015 - 14001: 2015 and Environmental and OHAS 18001. In addition, he also holds the positions of Health & Safety Internal Auditor and a trainer for fire awareness, fire marshal and fire warden within the company.
Chris is a former Police Officer with 13 years’ commercial business development experience, 4 of which have been with the waste and recycling industry. Chris thrives on the competitive, fast paced and ever-changing nature of the industry. Chris’s top priorities are to concentrate on new business in order to build on the company’s existing customer base within Wales and the North of England.
Neil has over 30 years’ account management experience, therefore, our potential new and existing customers are in safe hands when they join Parry & Evans. Neil enjoys meeting new clients and discussing how Parry & Evans can benefit their business.
Sarah is based in our accounts team in Welshpool. While she oversees the financial side of the company, she enjoys problem solving and collaborating with other departments to add value to the business. Outside of work, Sarah is studying towards her Chartered Tax Adviser qualification.
Sam completed an Environmental Management degree and is IOSH qualified. Sam has held a variety of roles within Parry & Evans which has provided him with excellent all-round experience. He also has a great attention to detail making him the perfect Quality Manager.
JP has over 20 years’ experience within the transport industry; having gained a Transport Managers’ CPC qualification in 2017 he has progressed to Transport Manager within the industry. JP enjoys the diversity of his role as he is dealing with drivers, vehicles, customers and suppliers to achieve the various elements of the work. JP is learning about the benefits of talent management and hopes to incorporate this into his current work.
Hayley is a multi-skilled professional with excellent all-round HR skills. She is very competent, with the ability to deal with recruitment and resourcing throughout Parry & Evans. Hayley is currently working towards attaining her CIPD qualification.
Steve has been with the business since 2010 and manages the daily operations at the Deeside site. He is a vital member of our warehouse and ensures that production is running to our high standards. Steve is IOSH qualified and is currently working towards his NEBOSH qualification.
