Jack launched the company in 1961 and has been fully involved in the growth and operation of Parry & Evans ever since. Jack still visits the business daily to oversee the operations and always enjoys spending time with the team for a cup of tea!
Steve, son of Jack Evans, joined the business in 1977 and has gained a vast amount of expertise and knowledge within the recycling industry. Steve has expanded the business across the Welshpool and Deeside sites whilst continuing to drive the growth of the business.
Lee, son of Steve Evans, joined the business in 2008 after completing his degree in Environmental Management. Lee is fully involved in the daily operations of the business.
Jordan, son of Steve Evans, joined the business in 2010 after completing his degree in Environmental Management. Jordan has had the full 360 experience of the organisation and currently oversees the material and sales of overseas new and existing customers. Jordan helps by improving customers recycling requirements as well as building long term customer relationships throughout.
Steve has been with the business for over a decade and has worked his way up throughout! Steve began as a Warehouse Operative and has learnt the full 360 of the business since becoming the Deeside Depot Manager. He is well versed on all company policies, procedures and compliance regulations within the recycling industry. Steve holds his NEBOSH qualification and is currently working towards WAMITAB.
Steve re-joined the business in February 2021 after previously working for Parry and Evans as our Commercial Manager, to take up a new role as Depot Manager of our Welshpool site. Steve has over 20 years’ experience working within the waste industry, mainly within the sales sector. Steve is currently attending his WAMITAB course, which is a Certificate of Technical Competence. Steve is passionate about the waste industry and thrives under pressure.
Terry is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience in the accounting profession and is passionate about improving efficiency and business partnering. Getting excellent value for money and streamlining the business overheads are an important part of his remit. Terry also holds a Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering which gives him a broader depth of knowledge when evaluating new processes, manufacturing and methods of working.
Jackie, daughter of Jack Evans, has always been involved in the business, initially working during the weekends and summer holidays as a teenager. Jackie attended Newtown College which involved office and payroll studies. In 1989, Jackie began her full time career with Parry & Evans and eventually became head of the payroll department whilst helping the business grow into what it is today.
Neil joined the company in 2021 as our HSQE advisor after spending 17 years in the operations side of the quarrying industry. Neil is IOSH qualified, NEBOSH qualified, a technical member of IOSH, and a member of the International Institute Of Risk And Safety Management. Neil has a vast knowledge of all aspects of Health, safety, environmental and quality management systems and is very passionate and enthusiastic about improving health and safety at work, he has a particular interest in a movement within the safety industry known as safety differently.
Neil has over 30 years’ account management experience, therefore, our potential new and existing customers are in safe hands when they join Parry & Evans. Neil enjoys meeting new clients and discussing how Parry & Evans can benefit their business.
Hayley joined the business 4 years ago and is qualified in CIPD Level 5 diploma and certificate, she holds a Chartered Membership of the CIPD. Hayley enjoys law compliance and employee management. Hayley is a multi-skilled professional with excellent all-round HR skills. She is passionate about employee health and wellbeing, operational and strategic HR management and generalist HR matters.
Tim joins the business with a vast amount of previous knowledge and experience in the Transport sector. He has spent the last ten years working his way up from a delivery driver to Transport Manager working for both small and international logistics businesses. He is fully qualified with an International Transport Managers CPC and regularly attends refresher courses to ensure he is fully up to date with current legislation.
Liz joined Parry & Evans in September 2019 bringing with her over 30 years’ experience in the waste industry. Liz thrives on meeting new customers across the business spectrum to advise them of the very best way to improve their recycling requirements; Building long term customer relationships with new and existing clients throughout the North west England, North and Mid Wales.
Lea joined Parry & Evans in June 2020, Lea's skillsets are focused around project leadership and management, training and sales support. Lea is highly experienced in introducing, reviewing and streamlining processes whilst developing and maintaining working relationships both internally and externally.
